Moving to LA

I’m moving to Pasadena to work more closely with the team on my idea. I want to get this thing launched before someone else figures it out. I’ll be spending my days in a garage that has been converted into a startup hive, working mainly with a bunch of brainy people from Caltech. I’m the guy all the way to the right in that picture. They added a couple of windows so it’s now quazi-scenic in the bat cave.

This blog got me the job so if you’re like me and have weird ideas floating around in your head it’s a good idea to publicly vent every now and again. That said, I never put my main idea on this blog and now I’m glad I didn’t. I have a little notebook full of invention ideas I’m planning on patenting some day when I have the time. What you ask? re-engineered coffee pots, an apple holding contraption that prevents bruising, video game controllers for a certain type of sport, room-mate anti-theft devices with lasers on ‘em, stuff like that. If I ever make enough money to stop working for a while I’m going to home depot with my little book of ideas.

Still looking for a place. Looks like sometime mid to end of next month I’ll be up there, hopefully north of the 210. I’ll have to have a shanty warming party in the near future so I’ll definitely let you know.
